Narina "NAR" Minassian has been in the fitness field since 1997. She has a Masters of Science degree in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Exercise Science), both from California State University, Northridge. She is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and is also certified in kickboxing and Pilates.
Sports and fitness have always been a big part of Narina‘s life. She began her basketball career at an Armenian nonprofit organization (Homenetmen Ararat) at the age of 10. She continued playing basketball throughout high school, for two years in college, and she still plays for Ararat and other leagues. In 2002, she played on the Armenian-American All Star Basketball Team in the Pan Armenia Games in Armenia. She helped lead her team to a silver medal.
In addition to basketball, Narina spent years working on her all-around athletic skills by participating in cross country and track & field teams. She stills trains for a variety of athletic events.
In addition to her determination to push herself physically and mentally to achieve her athletic goals, Narina is committed to sharing her love of exercise, sports and fitness with others. She began working at a local gym at the age of 16. She worked as a membership associate, supervisor, and personal trainer. Throughout her 10-year employment, she mentored other trainers and taught a variety of certification and continuing education courses. She was also honored every year at the company‘s award ceremony as a top trainer.
After completing her undergraduate degree in exercise science, she chose to pursue a masters degree in nutrition because she recognized that poor eating habits are often the main obstacle preventing people from reaching their weight loss goals. Narina specializes in sports nutrition in addition to nutrition for weight loss."
Narina's passion is to enable others to reach their fitness goals regardless of their age, fitness level, or skill level. She paired up with Elaine to design All About You! Wellness BootCamp in order to help more people experience good health, strength and overall well-being through living a fit and healthy lifestyle. There is nothing more rewarding to Narina than to help others build their self-confidence through fitness and good nutrition.

Elaine Miller has been in the fitness field since 1987. She is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and American Council on Exercise (ACE), and as a running coach through the Road Runners Club of American (RRCA). She is additionally certified in kickboxing, indoor cycling, Pilates and as a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant.
Elaine grew up playing multiple sports: softball, volleyball, basketball and track. Her passion for fitness and physical activity inspired her to begin teaching group fitness classes in her native San Francisco while attending college. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and was selected as the top graduating student in the Liberal Studies Department at San Francisco State University.
After graduation, she moved to Nagoya, Japan where she taught aerobics and water aerobics classes in an elite health club, and worked with Japanese fitness professionals to develop wellness programs.
Upon returning to the United States, Elaine went back to San Francisco State University to earn a teaching credential. She taught high school and middle school for four years, and then decided to enter the fitness industry full time. After earning her personal training certifications, she began working as a trainer at a gym in Glendale, CA.
In less than a year, she was promoted to Fitness Supervisor. For seven years she trained and supervised an award-winning team of twenty personal trainers. She also spearheaded a new Pilates training program and developed a Pilates Certification course for other trainers.
Training for her first marathon in 2004 gave Elaine an opportunity to reflect upon and re-evaluate her lifetime goals. She felt a renewed and powerful desire to help others live a healthy life and reach their fitness goals. Although she was able to help many people through personal training in a gym setting, she realized that the vast majority of gym members were simply failing to reach their fitness and weight loss goals.
Determined to help make a difference, Elaine began collaborating with Narina, her colleague and marathon-training partner, to create a well-rounded, all-inclusive fitness program that would incorporate strength training, cardiovascular exercise, flexibility, mind-body training and nutritional counseling. In October 2005, their vision became a reality when they opened All About You! Wellness BootCamp.
